[Set Design – Installation by Haans Mott].
My day started off in Chelsea helping out some friends. My contribution, aside from photographing the installation + some photos during the event, was hanging the lights! Yay light hanger.
Of the many faces in attendance was former Canadian model Stacey McKenzie, who wore this crazy zippered green tracksuit? (I don’t know how to describe it).
Thank you Lois & Haans for letting me be a part of this!

At 6pm, I planned to briefly walk-through stores in the meatpacking district for Fashion’s Night Out. I ran into Tiffany from SixSixSick, who recommended I swing by Scoop for free cupcakes, and Tory Burch apparently had La Esquina.. but I couldn’t find the store.. sadface.
But wait! Scoop’s flyer said LYKKE LI was DJing.. I looked all 10 feet into the store and wondered if at early early 6:15pm that could possibly be her. I went inside and sampled some food next to the DJ booth, but nobody looked her way or clamored for her attention. Does nobody know that Lykke Li is amazing and one of my favorite musicians? Or maybe they do and it’s not her (I’m pretty bad at recognizing ‘famous’ people, fyi). In my meekness I didn’t say anything and instead blasted bright flashes in her direction. I bet she was like, ‘who is this camera guy? i’m not going to look up.’ Cause well.. yeah ;)
A sight to note.. acrobatic Spiderman Rickshaw on Bond St in front of Oak NYC. I had no idea you could do gymnastics while pan-tossing two victims around in a rickshaw.
